November 17th will always hold a special place in our hearts.

What began as my husband's birthday became something much bigger—a new beginning for our family.

On November 17, we purchased 30 beautiful acres in Vancleave, Mississippi, and with that single decision, the dream of Fountain Farm was born.

For years, we enjoyed life near the water. Coastal sunsets, salty breezes and the familiar rhythm of the Gulf Coast shaped many wonderful memories. Yet somewhere along the way, we found ourselves longing for something different—a little more space, a little more quiet, and a closer connection to nature.

When we first stepped onto this property, we knew it was special.

Towering pines, open skies, and endless possibilities stretched before us. We could already imagine gardens growing, chickens roaming, horses grazing and mornings beginning with birdsong instead of boat traffic. It felt less like buying land and more like coming home.

Fountain Farm is still very much a work in progress. There are fences to build, gardens to plant and countless lessons to learn as first-time farm and horse owners. We will undoubtedly make mistakes along the way, but that's part of the adventure.

This journal is our place to share that journey—the successes, the challenges, the projects, the animals and the simple moments that make country life so rewarding.

More than anything, Fountain Farm is about slowing down and reconnecting with what matters most: family, faith, nature and a life lived with intention.
